Okay...so this year is already crazy! (In a good way! I am staying busy.) I know you all think I have forgotten about my idea for the White Oak District Tech. Buffet but I have not...just no time to plan. Here are the ideas I have so far for 1 hour long sessions to equal 1 CEU credit. This is your last chance to throw in ideas. This is not a final list, and some of these may NOT be included in my final course.

-Using MovieMaker in the classroom
-Using/Creating Webquests for the classroom
-Using Excel for Graphing in the classroom
-Blogging and Wiki's in the classroom
-Computer Troubleshooting
-K-12 Computer Skills Curriculum - What are my responsibilities as a Teacher?

This is my first time blogging...just wanted to say that the new imaging that was done to the laptop computers at HCES has basically made the laptop useless...I have subscribed to Reading a to z and scholastic printables and was excited to be able to print teacher resources at school on school printers and imagine my surprise that I could not even open a file...especially since our student math books have not arrived and I am searching materials to use to teach with...I hope someone is reconsidering the restrictions put on these computers which are supposed to be used by teachers to make life easier...thanks for listening...BM
Gretchen these all look great. It would be great if we could have something specifically for K-1 (2) - maybe some examples of multimedia to use in the classroom that INTEGRATE. We would like to use technology as a vehicle. Our students are just starting out a lot of the time. Usually the workshops are way above their ability levels.
Okay, I know this is old school at this point but I think there is alot that can be done with kidpiz but I am clueless. How about that for a training.
We are beginning to get some ipods and would love some ideas for the classroom.
